This comprehensive guide explores the varied sizes and reliable options of Durex condoms, emphasizing the absence of smaller sizes in the contemporary market.
Introduction
Durex Condoms have been around since 1929 and they still continue to be one of the most preferred and popular choices on the market. Over the years, this brand of condoms has earned a reputation for being highly reliable and durable.
With a wide assortment of features and shapes, this brand has something for everyone (update: this may no longer be the case; read on to find out why!).

The following article will highlight the different Durex condom sizes to help you choose the right one.
Some of the most popular condoms from this well-known manufacturer include Durex Avanti Bare RealFeel, Durex Enhanced Sensation, Extra Strength, Pleasuremax, Performax, Prolong, Extra Sensitive, and Durex XXL condoms.
Average and large size
Durex offers a variety of condoms, most of which fall into the regular or average size category. There are a few options for those requiring larger sizes, such as the Durex XXL, the largest condom in their range, or the Durex Pleasuremax, which is slightly larger than the standard size. If you find that average-sized condoms are too snug, these larger options might be a better fit for you, especially if you’re above average in size.
No Small Size in 2023
Keep in mind that not all Durex condoms are available in every market. For instance, Durex Close Fit, which was the smallest condom from Durex, was not available in the US but was offered in the EU market.
Update: Durex has discontinued this condom in general, which means that one of the biggest condom brands in the world doesn’t have any small condoms in its selection. A shame. In the UK Durex now sells Durex Originals Close Fit condom but its width is 52mm which I wouldn’t classify as a small condom. Here are the alternatives.
Durex enhanced pleasure, which is somewhat smaller than the average condom with a contour shape to give a better fit, is available on a small scale in the US (update – also no longer available!). This condom was categorized in many online stores as a smaller condom and is ideal for men who are average or slightly below average.
Latex or non-latex
Most Durex condoms are made of latex. They offer one non-latex option, a condom made of polyisoprene (Durex Avanti Bare RealFeel). You won’t find any Durex lambskin condoms or condoms made of polyurethane.
Let’s take a closer look at Durex condom sizes.

just wondering if there is a type of condom with extra width, but standard length or with extra length (in the australian market) the reason why i ask is that there was one that i used many years ago (ansell extra width) i cant find them are there any other brands that offer this type of fit?, or has ansell changed the packaging or the name ?????,the standard width is way too tight & it hurts.
any help or asistance would be appreciated, thx neil : ) melbourne australia
I did a quick research and from what I’ve found there’s a plenty of choice…now, I don’t know which size are you exactly looking for. Ansell has lifestyles large (56 mm), there’s Four Seasons larger fitting condom (59 mm), Glyde (another Australian based condom manufacturer) has Maxi and Super Max condoms (56 and 60 mm) etc…
Hope this helps!

Mines 6″2 length and 1″7 girth what would you suggest ?
5.1 inch girth*
for a girth of 5.1” a regular condom with the 53mm or 54mm width should be fine. Pick the one from the chart above which meets your other preferences (material etc)
Dear sir
Thank you so much for your information, I want to ask you that our company decide to bring machinery to produce and make a kind of Condom. Please help and advise me about it.
Regards
m.Solati
Mine is 7.5″ length and 6″ girth, i find regular durex condoms a little too short and tight for my pleasing, what should i go for?
If you want to stick with Durex, than obviously Durex XL should be your choice. However, I would recommend that you try a bit wider condom, 60 or 64 mm width might be a better choice
Just thought you might want to know, the links for these condoms are all going to Trojan Ultrathins… This is a durex list isn’t it?
hmm, I cannot replicate that, works fine from here. can you please tell me for which product do you get the wrong redirect? thanks!
I am under average at 5″ lenght and 4″ girth. Which condom should I go for, the real feal? (P.S. I live in the UK)
5.5″ girth and 6.4″ length, what do you recommend? As when I used the filter system on this site, I found that my options were limited to only Durex X.X.L.
yep, if you want to stick with Durex, try Durex XL
Ho!mine is 17 cm and it is in some way thick!what do you recommend?
How large is the Durex Maximum XL?
My length its 11.5in and none of the condoms that i see are that big my girth is 8in what do u recommend
I’m a newby again to the condom scene after 20 years of other contraception means. It was a nightmare in my teens with condoms breaking and i didn’t practice safe sex as I should of as they were so uncomfortable.
I’ve discovered skyn large to be bearable, durex xl way to tight. Those are the only larger condoms I see in store in a bigger size. My length is average at 17cm or 6 3/4″, but its my girth which is the same as my length which is the problem, I’m basically fighting to get these ones on and then constantly having to adjust to let some circulation in.
I’m in the UK, so if you can tell me which stores sell what I need it would be appreciated.
Thanks.
hey man, are you able to order online? there’s a revolutionary UK condom brand offering custom fit condoms (95 different sizes altogether). Or you can check out other options in the UK size chart
Thanks, i did look online before and bought some about 10 years ago when we went on holiday while the better half was on a break from the pill, but the quality was rubbish and as thick as an inner tube, so that put me off buying unknown brands.
We’re too old for slip ups if you get what I mean.
hi , Its sounds like lots of people like it. I want to try it. I’m very sensitive, don’t know which one to use and only 4.5″. Please provide me some info. If I can get these products in local pharmacy like CVS and rite aide?
Thanks
for that girth you’d be better with a snugger fit condom. you might find lifestyles snugger fit or caution wear iron grip in the pharmacies. smaller Durex condom is not available at the moment
Hi, I am really having problems with condoms I have tried normal ones the durex elite ones (in the purple packet) and they no were near fit me even with forcing them on absolutely no were near! My penis is average in length about 6.5 inches but my girth is 6.2 inches and that’s were the problem is. Can you please get back to me to recommend a condom size all I seem to be doing is wasting my money.
Have you checked the condom calculator tool? there are couple of suggestions for you there like TheyFit or My.size condoms. check it out here
I found the skyn large an fit, but a bit expensive. We’ve been using pasante king size, they are a tiny bit tighter when putting on, but the length unrolls completely to the base and that’s where they normally get too tight, but completely unrolled the ring is quite elastic and not too tight, they are thicker than the skyn large and but not so much as durex.
We’ve stuck to these mainly because of cost, pack of 12 is £2.50 compared to a pack of 5 skyn at £5. Worst part is the name king size being plastered all over the box when shopping and getting them off after as its a bit of a fight unless I wait to go soft.
hi, i dont know what type i would use , and it will be my first time to try Condoms .. penis is 7.1″ and 6″ to 6.5″ , what should i buy ?
Hi Pete
Length: 6.8″
Base Girth: 5.4″
Mid Girth: 5.4″
Under Head Girth: 5″
Which condom do you recomend from Durex?
Durex Maximum Love or Durex XL
I am in dxb just bought durex condom but not mentioned in the box length only width 52 mm. what does it mean? Free size or what and also sales people were surprised when I asked them what about size nothing mentioned only width 52 mm
hi. yes, that’s a regular size. read this post to find out more about how this width is measured…that will clear up your confusion
Length: 4.5 inches
Girth: 3 inches
What do you recommend from Durex?
nothing. if you measured that girth correctly (here are some tips) then I suggest you use the TheyFit 41mm Custom Fit Condom
None of these fit me. 11” long and 6.5” in girth / circumference
Hi, I’m from Colombia and I found this Durex condoms near my local drugstore. http://www.lider.cl/dys/productImages/g/5787326ga.jpg
But, on the box they aren’t exactly the same measure that you give of Durex XL. They said Length: 200mm and Nominal Width: 56mm. My girth is around 5.3”, standard condoms are too snug, and I’ve always used Magnums, so I want to know if these condoms will fit fine for me, or they are too big?
hi, thanks for sharing that. Durex has several version of their XL condom, depending on the market. as you shown it can be 200mm length and 56mm width.
but as you can see in these pictures here:
http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/5/7/4/3/3/4/webimg/491766467_o.jpg?nc=443
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/91pgFzjcMCL._SL1500_.jpg
there are versions with 57mm width (length not specified) and in another example 56mm width but 220mm length.
anyhow, it’s always best to check the box like you did. if it’s not written on the box then you can assume it’s either 56mm or 57mm width.
anyhow, in your case I’d say the 56mm version will be a good match. try it and let us know.
Well, they fitted perfectly. Compared to Magnums, this Durex XL are thinner, which make you feel more, but on other hand Magnums head width I think is bigger and they feel more comfortable. Either way, I recommend both.
awesome, thanks for the quick review!
Why does the Durex XL and Durex XXL have the exact same stats in length and width? I’m need over 60mm.
It’s basically the same product, just branded differently under different markets. check the condom calculator or the complete size chart for 60mm and bigger sizes
Mine is about 7.1 inch in length and 5″ girth what would you suggest
a regular sized condom (width around 52-54mm)
Im 6″ long but only 4.5″ girth.
Would anything fit me?
sure it would, Durex Close Feel or Durex Kingtex should be fine
6” legth ,11 5 cm girth head, 12.5cm girth at base
Hi I am 7″2.5 inches long and 50mm in girth
Which condom do I use?
Thanks
Hey Pete!
I am 6″ long
