How To Use This Condom Size Calculator?
Before you start using this calculator, you need to know your penis circumference (girth). In case you don’t know it, you can measure it with a piece of string and a ruler. Loop the string around your erect penis and mark down where the string connects, and then use a ruler to measure its length.
Once you have your number, select the approximate circumference from the penis circumference drop-down menu above the chart (e.g., if your circumference is 5 inches, you will select: 4.9″ – 5.1″). Condoms that should best suit your size will automatically be filtered and you can further filter them by condom material, width, or length.
In case you want to see what the next larger or smaller option would be, you can also select the next larger or smaller circumference from the drop-down menu.

How does it work?
A study that examined the effect of penis dimensions on the likelihood of condom breakage or slippage discovered that the ideal ratio between condom circumference and penis circumference should be from 80 to 90%.
In this calculator, I provide several condom options, for each penis circumference, which abide by this rule. Condom dimensions have been gathered from different online resources, as well as from our measuring.
Keep in mind that condom width is not the same thing as condom circumference. Condom width is measured when the condom is lying flat so it is around 1/2 of the condom’s circumference.
In some cases, a female condom is also suggested as an option, when there is a very narrow choice of male condoms.
Finally, while the suggested condoms should provide a good fit for you, I recommend that you pick a few options and test them to find the one that feels the best.
To elevate your experience also consider using a water-based or silicone-based lube.
Can’t Find the Right Condom Length?
Some guys have complained that condoms that match their circumference are longer (mostly) or (in some cases) shorter than their penis. Does it matter?
My opinion is that condom width is the most important factor, as a condom that is too snug or too loose can slip or break, which exposes you to the risk of unwanted pregnancy or catching STDs or STIs. Basically, a condom that matches your penis circumference but is shorter or longer will still do its job.
Would it be even better that the condom length also matches your penis length? Yes, sure, although it’s not crucial.
If you still want to get both the condom width and length to match your penis size, I’d encourage you to check these custom fit condoms.

I’m just so glad I found you! I realized regular condoms were too tight for my b/f and a lot were a bit short too, i was afraid they’d slip off! He’s nearly 5.5 ins round and about 9 ins fully aroused! OMG! My length is 6 and my girth is 6, and I cannot find any condoms that are comfortable. I don’t mind extra length cause I can just not unroll it all the way, but even Trojan magnums make my penis completely numb after a few minutes cause the base is too small. Any options?

lets say it’s much less of an issue. if you got the correct width you’re good to go. if the length matches, that’s obviously even better…but not necessary (and hard to find…unless you order custom fit condoms)

yes, you can do it like that – pick your width first and then select the one with the best fitting length (that might be Atlas extra large)

Hey guys my penis size is 6 inches in length and 5.5 inches in girth (mid-shaft). I used your condom calculator and found out I needed larger condoms so I went and bought trojan magnums. When I tried on the magnums, the shaft portion of the condom fit well but the tip of the shaft was kind of baggy. Any suggestions of why it didn’t fit properly?
it’s because Magnum has a flared shape, meaning it has more headroom. some guys like that, some don’t. I assume you want a straight shape, so pick some of the other suggestions next time

I”m around 5.9-6″ long, 5.9″ circum around the mid. It’s kinda shaped like a torpedo – narrower head, larger mid, narrower base. Usually find many large condoms too long, and normal size too tight. Girls can fit a normal one on when i”m not at 100% fullness but then it kinda stays only partially erect. Also Im uncircum, but overall it is pretty unsensitive.
I’ve in the past used the fire/ice trojans. They have a wider top and middle so they fit the mid fine, they top is a bit loose (I dont mind), but I have trouble getting them on past the mid point at full erection since they tapper down.
I need something big enough to fit the mid w/o restricting too much blood flow, not too long, and something I can feel through or that stimulates/sensitizes me.
What do you recommend?

I would recommend a wider condom, like my.size 60mm or Pasante King Size
if extra length bothers you then go with a custom fit condom from TheyFit
I used this calculator but yet still a little confused. I am length 6 1/4, circumference 5 1/2 and width 2.13 (inches). Do I buy condoms with exactly 2.13 width or bigger ones, like 2.2? The three different durex ones I have tried have been way too tight but I’m not sure what size they were and not actually sure how tight they are meant to be… Reading through comments I believe I need a straight fit. Any help or recomendations please? Thanks
hey, you have to select your circumference in the calculator above (5.5″ – 5.7″). If you do so you will get several condom suggestions (with 2.2″ + width). hope that helps!
I am not really sure about this calculator. My issue is, I have a 152 mm of circumference. with this calculator tell me I should use mysize 60mm or theyfit 60mm but If I go to their website mysize tell I am in the limit and I should use mysize 69mm and theyfit 64mm/69mm(looser fit). Because I wasn’t sure I bought Mysize 64mm and they are a bit tight but at least I could wear it. I will try the 69mm the next time. I hope my opinion could help to someone else.
I have the same girth. Instead of paying extra and waiting for custom fit customs, you might want to try Skyn Large, Trustex Large, or Durex XXL. The Durex XXL’s have been discontinued, but there are still some in circulation. The Skyn’s are non-latex and stretch a little bit more than latex. They feel great! The Trustex come in colors. They all fit me snug. It’s better than being to big, trust me! Enjoy!
Why do you feel the need to lie to someone in search of help, if you had 152 mm circumference you wouldn’t be able to use the durex XXL’s, I know this for a fact.

Now that I’m moving on I figured out I should give it some research. With 5.7″ girth, regular condoms were always very tight and displeasing for me, I really thought I couldnt even put the damn thing right! So I tried something close to the calculator suggestions, because there isnt a wide variety of condoms for sale close to me, and tried a 55mm and man that felt great, a bit tight but great. depends how much wider is it. generally I would suggest the middle part or the base and you can use an extra head room or flared shape condom for extra comfort. try few options and see what feels the best for you
The head of my John is 5.5 around but my shaft is 5.1 or 5.2. I’m only 6 inches in length as well so I assume the bigger condoms will be too long? What should I do. I had tropical flavoured durex condoms but it was far too tight and cut the blood flow off. Thanks.
have you tried a magnum? it has a flared shape so there’s extra room in the head. it’s also just slightly bigger than average at the base. check for other options in the condom calculator tool

I think I am a bit older than many here . When I was younger, I really knew nothing about size issues and possible breakage. I have had several break during sex. I always considered myself average in size. Fully erect, I am just over 7″ and measure 5.5″ around. I guess I am thicker than some, but well within the average. Does it make sense to look at the wider condoms? I would not want a condom to slip off either.

I cannot suggest anything until you measure your circumference as that’s the most important thing. When you do that pick your range in the tool above and you’ll get some suggestions. if there are no Durex condoms you can leave a comment with your girth and we’ll try to find an appropriate Durex condom

well, a snugger fit would be my choice in his case. he should at least give it a try, a better fit gives a better feeling so he might be surprised. Beyond Seven condoms are somewhere in between (at 51mm) and that’s another option if he doesn’t want to use a snugger fit condom.

hi, it’s pretty easy to use the calculator. just pick your circumference in the Penis Circumference drop-down (3.9″ – 4.1″ (99 – 104 mm)) and you’ll get few suggestions. Basically, the best would be to use a TheyFit custom fit condom or to use a female condom. Another option is to try condoms which are slightly bigger (select 4.2″ – 4.3″ size)

calculator only takes circumference into account as we believe it’s the most important factor. he should be fine with a regular sized condom (eg. 53mm width). if you want the best fit possible then I suggest that he tries the custom fit condom

Why condom companies don’t have non latex condoms for this size… My girlfriend is allergic and I never found a single condom appropriate and well it is really uncomfortable for both… For years!! Hi. an average sized condom shouldn’t cause circulation problems as your circumference is average or just slightly above average. if you feel that’s the cause I suggest that you try a larger condom. If you want to stick with Durex then that should be Durex XL. see more options here
I’m a solid 7.5″ in length and most of my circumference is 5.25″ except at the head and just before I am only 4.9″ and at the base I flare out to 5.9″. So you see, I’m thicker at the base and taper off towards tip. In my experience condoms are built for the opposite shape, thicker at the head and thinner at the base. What would be a good fit given my dimensions?

4.5 and 5.5 is a big difference. I guess you have different circumference on different parts. generally one should take the biggest number as a reference. in your case 5.5 or go with something a bit smaller than that or in the middle between those two numbers. use the calculator above and you’ll get plenty of options

Hello, I am 6.5″ in length, 4.7″ in girth mid-shaft and 5.2″ at the base. In my last relationship I was using Skyns (regular) and they fit fine, for the most part – had one slip off once. They would leave a red mark at the base and did feel snug there, but did come off a bit each time farther up, as if they were more unravelled. Trojan-ENZ came off once, too, and anyway, I don’t like them cause they feel baggy at the tip. The calculator suggested Trojan ENZ and Okamotos, the Trojans I’m gonna pass on, Okamoto I’d be willing to go for, but was wondering your thoughts on if I should just go with what I know (the Skyns). I was gonna try Kimonos, since I’ve heard good things by people of mid-sizes too, but apparently they’re pretty small?
hi, Kimono condoms are not that small, just 1mm narrower than SKYN. they are listed on this page, you can filter the chart (enter ‘Kimono’ in the Search bar) and check. In your case I’d rather pick from the 4.9″ – 5.1″ range, than the 4.7″ – 4.9″

generally I recommend to pick according to the thickest part. but you can also use the number in-between (5.4″ in your case) as the reference. regarding flare vs straight shape, it’s a matter of preference.
Hey Pete! My name is Pete-r and im a bit confused. So, i measured my girth to be 15cm (5.9in) And divide that by 3.14 to find the width and you get 47mm (1.85in). The calculator suggests that i use 60mm condoms, but you say that the penis should be 80-90% of the condom size. That is 48 – 54mm. So im just confused because a 56mm condom would fit better based on what you said. So yea im just super confused please help me!!

I can’t be only guy trying to find bigger condom. 12.5 long, 7 diameter. Magnums way to small. I think it’s fairly normal for older men to need larger condoms.
I buy condoms for my son. He’s only young and don’t want him lumbered with a child and having the same problem. I got him durex XXL which are 9.5 inches long but he says it feels uncomfortable because they only reach about 2/3 of the way down his shaft. If you find anything longer can you post info please

Why are Pasante King Size condoms not showing as a recommendation for an erect penis of 5.5″ girth? They are recommended for erect penises with a 5.8″ girth? The Pasante King Size has a nominal width of 60mm. Other condoms of 60mm nominal width, such as My size 60, are showing as recommended for both erect penises of 5.5″ girth and for 5.8″ girth.

My selection of condoms in my country don’t include Lifestyles Skyn or Wink or Playboy, which are the recommended in the chart according to my girth. Which other condoms can work for me? preferably durex since it’s the most widely used in my country. Also, another question, I’m still confused about the use of nominal width. Is the nominal width I should be looking for just have my circumference? Some websites say so, but other contradict all that. Sorry for the hassle, I’m inexperienced and am looking for the right fit for when I need to use it.

hi, if 56mm is uncomfortable for you, I’d suggest to try something between 58-60mm width. Filter these widths on the calculator and check if you can find any of those locally or order online.
I got these condoms on ebay that say SMALL, and they are really narrow so they are near perfect in that regard, but they are more than double the necessary length, so its basically like wearing a Magnum that I can touch the sides of. I wanted to fill out the whole thing, so I found some clear latex finger condoms. These are extremely narrow, but over time, Ive learned to get used to them, & the length is damn near perfect. When I get fully erect, the condom will expand as required, sometimes even explode on super horny days, but all and all, I prefer wearing them over any other because I hate all the useless excess. Im sure people are gonna have some things to say, but much like Howie Mandel used to blow regular condoms up over his whole head, the Finger Condom over a Slightly Below Average cock is far less of a stretch… Unless youre about as big around as a coke can, you could get one on too so just save it. #teemteeny #backwardsthongs

if I understand you correctly, your penis circumference is 5 inches. that’s average size so you will have plenty of options to choose from. in the calculator above select 4.9″ – 5.1″ (125 – 130mm) from the Penis circumference dropdown to filter out all the condoms that should match your size.
